To measure the room perimeter, add up the base length of each wall of the room.  Example, your room has four walls with room dimensions of 4m x 5m.  The perimeter will be equal to 4m + 4m + 5m + 5m =18m. Base length is the length of the base of the wall you are measuring. Sloping wall is where a wall may have differing heights at each end.  To measure a sloping wall use the tallest height as the height measurement.
