In NZ, the most common finish on roofs are corrugated zincalume steel roofing, trough zincalume steel, concrete tiles and decrabond steel tiles roofing. While the most common roof pitch is between 20 to 25 degrees. The costs estimates below are for a total construction of roofs from the timber frames right through to the roof covering.

Corrugated zincalume steel sheet roofing

This is the most common profile of roofing used in New Zealand. Zincalume steel (or zinc steel) is resistant to rusting and corrosion. The price of zinc steel is similar to Colour steel which is steel coated with paint.

This profile is generally used in commercial buildings as even though the profile is plain, it can span a further distance for large roofs.
